Garden Gazebo

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

It’s the time of year that I suppose we can begin to look at our gardens again. I said look at mind you and not nesseseraly do anything.

Anyhow, it reminded me of  a project we completed sometime ago which really allowed us to use metal in another way altogether. Our client has a beautiful garden and is a keen lover of trees and so with this in mind we manufactured a rather larger Gazebo and basically covered it with metal leaves cut in the exact shape of the leaves which he had saved from his garden. We manufactured it in our workshop, which took a lot longer to complete than originally predicted and then galvanised the complete structure and coloured it black before transporting it to site.

the fabrication was very time consuming as there were hundreds of leaves to be welded into position and made to look somewhat natural. We also manufactured a lattice type side panelling from our CNC punching machine. This gave a very decorative side panel and looks great.

We manufactured some matching gates for elsewhere in the Garden also.

The lads took great pride in seeing this project come to it’s conclusion. It was indeed very difficult to produce and the effort from the original drawings to the final bolts has produced outstanding results.

Doesn’t the weather look great to !

Regards, Martin.
