We have just completed an architectural metalwork project where the client wished to use the roof of his property fully and also required some privacy. To create this ideal we used stainless steel balustrade posts with stainless steel tubular handrail and then we installed satinized glass panels for privacy.

The posts we manufactured incorporated a glass clamp with gaskets and so eliminated any gaps at the side through which a rather uncomfortable breeze can blow.

The horizontal lines were created using 25×10 satin polished stainless steel flat bars and look really good from either side.

Again, the finished piece looks rather fine, even if I do say so myself. well done lads and keep up the good work.

We completed an interesting project recently in Naas where our clients had a typical wooden staircase and wooden spindel type balustrade and decided they wanted to revamp and up grade the whole stairs and landing areas. We set about preparing our proposal and came up with what in my opinion works very well indeed. Basically we planted on grounds and brackets for glazing to the existing wooded stair string. This was finished in white, we then installed clear glass to these grounds by means of stainless steel machined dome head type bolts with gaskets and the nwe installed a stainless steel flat bar handrail which accomadates a timber handrail which will match the clients new stair treads. The results we very good and the whole job ties in very well with the surrounding decor now.

This type of design has made a huge difference to the Hall and Landing and it is the first element you see as you enter the fron door. It is a very cost effective method of getting glass in your lobby.

Here is another image of frame-less glass balustrade. This is the landing area to the staircase I showed earlier.

The glass is fixed to a steel stringer which is fixed into the edge of the concrete floor. There are no visible bolts or welds to cheapen the appearance of this piece.

Note the way in which the timber handrail is fitted. There are no timber corners at all. There are all done by thickening the stainless steel and so eliminates the risk of the timber corners opening and looks very good……………………………. Attention to detail is the key.
